GSE Closes Plant in Chile
GSE Environmental announces that it will cease manufacturing operations at its Antofagasta, Chile location.
GSE has conducted a thorough evaluation of different means to optimize manufacturing productivity, market competitiveness, and quality, and has determined that it can more efficiently serve the South America region by leveraging its global production facilities.
GSE is fully committed to its customers across South America, and will continue to staff a sales office in Santiago in order to provide a local point of contact in the
region.
“The decision to close this facility was not made lightly. However, we believe this is the best way to serve our customers across the Americas by streamlining
processes, consolidating manufacturing operations, and reducing costs,” said Bob Preston, President and Chief Executive Officer. “We thank every employee at
