Australian University Develops Geotextile that Could Help Prevent Buildings Collapsing During Earthquakes
A team of scientists at an Australian university believe they have found the answer to protecting buildings from earthquakes, with the solution coming from an unlikely source.
A team of researchers at the Centre for Built Infrastructure Research at University of Technology Sydney, led by associate professor Behzad Fatahi and supported by Ruoshi Xu, believe existing synthetic geotextiles used within building foundations would form the ultimate protection of buildings against gigantic earthquakes.
