Renolit’s Big Spending and Expansion Plans
The company is building a new plant in Pune, India to produce geomembranes for use in large pumped storage power plants (PSPP), among other applications.
Renolit has also committed to investing more than €130 million in upgrading its sites in Germany. “A global presence and a commitment to our home country are not opposites,” stressed Renolit CEO Jänicke in a recent blog post. “They belong together. When we grow internationally, we also strengthen our locations in Europe — because we open up new markets, drive innovation, and secure our long-term competitiveness.”
