Concrete Canvas Concerned by the Impact of Brexit on Their Business
The company is worried about the future and the price of imports.
Director Will Crawford said: “Whilst Concrete Canvas as a business is a strong Remain supporter, in the short term the sharp devaluation of the pound has benefited our overseas markets.
“Approximately 80% of our business is export and these territories have typically seen the price of importing Concrete Canvas drop by 15-20%, which has made our product more competitive against locally sourced solutions. “The flip side of this is that we have also seen increases in raw material costs which we are having to pass onto our customers.
